What is Project Hope UNSW?
Project Hope UNSW is a student-run charity organisation based at the University of New South Wales. Founded in 2006, we are dedicated to the goal of supporting children’s education in rural China. It is our objective to provide support to these less fortunate children and to ensure that they each have an equitable opportunity to achieve a better future.
What does the society do?
We hold stalls at the front of Main Library every week to raise funds towards our charity. At the end of the year, we travel to a school in rural China at our own expense and the funds are used to purchase necessary equipment to donate to the children, such as stationery, backpacks and clothing.
